Allison Silver has over twenty years of experience working as a creative, physical and post production executive on feature films at some of the most successful independent film companies in the world including FilmNation, Focus Features and Miramax Films.
As EVP of International Production at FilmNation, Silver worked on a wide variety of films including “The King’s Speech”, Academy Award winner for Best Picture, Academy Award nominee for Best Picture “The Imitation Game”, six time Academy Award nominee “Nebraska”, Sofia Coppola’s “The Bling Ring” and was a key executive in the acquisition of the four time Academy Award nominee “Room”. Additionally, she worked with El Deseo (Pedro & Agustin Almodóvar's company) on three films during her tenure including the critically acclaimed “The Skin I Live In,” BAFTA winner, Best Foreign Language Film.
Silver joined Focus Features at its inception. While at Focus she worked on numerous award winning films including “Brokeback Mountain” which garnered 3 Academy Awards and 3 Golden Globes. She was also a key executive on Jim Jarmusch’s “Broken Flowers” winner of the Cannes Grand Prix award. Additionally, Silver worked closely with El Deseo on four of their films including “Talk to Her” (Academy Award and Golden Globe winner for Best Foreign Film) and “Volver”. At Miramax Films, she worked on many award winning and successful films including “Life is Beautiful”, “City of God” and “The Others”
Current Lucky Wolf development projects include: "Chittenden" (TV) -a family drama set in the world of the occult based on true events, "Blue Hawk" (TV) -a series based on the female driven, Native American detective series written by Devon Mihesuah, "The Silent Hymn of the Jay"(film)- based on a novel written by award winning journalist Gloria Hillard, "Lemons from My Father"(podcast & TV)-based on the true crime memoir by CC Moore , "Bon" (film)-written by Leopoldo Gout and directed by award winning filmmaker Everardo Gout.

It all begins with the script! Small problems become big and costly when you attempt to address them at the production or post production stage. I have many years of expertise in guiding people to craft the best version of their stories with compelling characters and engaging story lines.
PRODUCTION
I have worked with a wide variety of budgets, in different parts of the world and with an eclectic group of filmmakers. I love the intensity, camaraderie and challenge of this process. I can assist you in navigating potential pitfalls and help you problem solve the numerous obstacles that will inevitably come your way.
POST PRODUCTION
Many people don't realize how critical this stage is to the story telling and story crafting process. I have many years of experience working with filmmakers, colorists and mixers to ensure that every detail represents the project's intended vision.
